The advertisement which is owned by Visa had caught my attention much..
It is about an indian girl who wishes to acquire few birds for her departing(not dying) brother as a sign of good luck for him...she was much in a rush to buy it..running thru the indian market, banging practically anything..
there in another screen shows Richard Gere having a conversation with an Indian guy..the guy seems to be explaining to Gere about the custom of buying birds and later on releasing them for a sign of good luck..
"If you free the birds, you have luck"
"More birds,more luck"
then suddenly the girl banged into Gere...
"Hey,you ok?"
but the girl continue running on till she finally stop at a peddler's stand and said,
"My brother is on a journey today,I want to bring him good fortune"
"Five birds please"
"But there is only enough for one bird",exclaimed the peddler.
"Err.....o-k"said the girl in a reluctant tone.
so there she got her bird and went walking back to her home where Richard Gere whom had witnessed the girl buying the bird, went to the peddler's stand and flashes his black Visa card.
The peddler's glances to other so-called "bird owners" and give Gere a confirmation nod.
The scene suddenly riveted back concertrating on the girl walking joyfully to her home where her brother is seen packing his things.
where suddenly thousands of birds were released into the air..
she glances to Gere but he and the other peddlers just gave a pretending "noo..it wasnt me" look.
The End~
so the moral of this advertisement is....
More birds,more luck.
" ..it's all about you now.. "
